Well, about a week ago I did. Over the course of two or three days I happened to make tons of recipes that called only for egg yolks. Homemade, all natural ice cream, grain-free coconut flour pancakes, homemade mayonnaise–yummy, delicious things like that. It resulted in a huge bowl of egg whites just sitting in my fridge. I wasn’t sure what to do with them at first, but I didn’t want to waste them! Instead, I found all sorts of delicious recipes to for leftover egg whites. Naturally, I wanted to share them with you :).

  2. I am looking for savory recipes not a sugar hit. Can anyone help please?

    • A really easy way to use extra whites is to make scrambled eggs. I add one egg to every 2 leftover whites, the result is lighter than normal but still very tasty. I also use leftover egg whites to make savory quiches, such as feta and broccoli – the method actually makes for pretty quiches as the filling is a cleaner white in color!

  3. Do you happen to know of a good way to measure out an egg’s worth of egg white from a big bowl of egg whites? I have a bowl full of them, but I didn’t keep count of the number of eggs going into the bowl. I’d appreciate any advice! :)

    • I’ve had the same question after having a big bowl of egg whites. Because all eggs are a little different in size, nothing is exact, but a good rule of thumb is 2 Tbsp. equals 1 egg white.
